House Rules

1. Arrival and departure

• Check-in: from 4:00 PM
• Check-out: by 10:00 AM

If you would like a different time, please arrange it with us in advance. Early arrival and late departure can be accommodated depending on the guesthouse's occupancy.

2. Self check-in

We provide self check-in via a key safe, so arrival can be arranged flexibly, without needing to meet anyone in person.

We send the key safe's opening code on the day of arrival, once the details of every guest included in the booking have been fully recorded in the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA) system, in accordance with applicable law.

Please provide the required guest data before arrival if at all possible, so that check-in can go quickly and smoothly.

3. Departure

When leaving, please:

• turn off the lights,
• turn off the taps,
• switch off the air conditioning,
• close the doors and windows,
• put the pool cover back on,
• put the key back in the key safe and lock the safe again.

4. Parking

We provide free, enclosed parking in the courtyard for our guests.

The courtyard can be entered through the second gate behind the house. There is comfortable room for up to 6 cars in the courtyard.

Please note that street parking in Poroszló is paid, so we recommend parking your vehicles in the courtyard. Please park in a way that allows every guest to comfortably drive in and out.

5. Use of the guesthouse

The guesthouse may only be used by the guests included in the booking.
Please take good care of the house's furnishings and equipment. If you notice any damage or malfunction, please let us know right away.

6. Family-friendly amenities

Our guesthouse warmly welcomes families with young children. For a more comfortable stay, we provide the following equipment free of charge:

• a foldable travel cot,
• a mattress for the travel cot,
• a high chair,
• a baby bath,
• children's toys.

Please note that we do not provide bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) for the travel cot – please bring these for your child.

If you would like to use the travel cot or the other baby equipment, please let us know when booking or before arrival if possible, so we can have it ready for you.

Children under 3 years old stay free and do not count toward the guesthouse's maximum capacity.

7. Pool use

Using the pool is at every guest's own risk.

The pool has a uniform depth of 160 cm, so it is suitable only for guests who can swim.

To keep everyone safe and the water clean, please:

• always shower before using the pool,
• do not bring food or drinks into the pool,
• do not use glass bottles or glasses near the pool,
• do not let pets into the pool,
• children may only be in or near the pool under continuous adult supervision,
• when the pool is not in use, and every evening, please put the pool cover back on – it helps keep the water clean and warm.

8. Air conditioning use

Thanks to the guesthouse's adobe walls, it stays pleasantly cool even in the summer heat. Please:

• use the air conditioning only when needed,
• do not run it with a door or window open,
• switch it off when leaving or during longer absences.

9. Pets

We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs at our guesthouse for 5.000 Ft (~€12.5)/night, but please follow these rules:

• dogs may not get on beds, sofas, or other upholstered furniture,
• please always pick up after your dog in the garden,
• dogs may not go into the pool,
• please do not leave dogs unsupervised in the guesthouse.

We are not able to accommodate cats or other pets. The pet's owner is always responsible for any damage caused.

10. Electric car charging

Electric car charging is also available to our guests. Please:

• take a photo of the car charger's sub-meter reading before first use,
• take another photo of the meter reading before leaving.

The electricity used is billed at 140 Ft (~€0.35)/kWh, based on the difference between the two meter readings.

11. Technical equipment

The technical equipment on the property ensures the guesthouse runs smoothly. Please do not change the settings or switch off, in particular:

• the pool's heat pump,
• the switches and fuses in the electricity meter cabinet,
• the electric car charger,
• and any other technical equipment.

If you notice anything unusual, please let us know rather than trying to fix it yourself.

12. Grilling and cauldron cooking

The grill and the cauldron cooking area may be used at everyone's own risk. Please:

• follow fire safety rules,
• fully extinguish the fire after use,
• hand the grill and its surroundings over clean to the next guests.

13. Waste collection

Please help us protect our environment by sorting your waste.

Two types of waste collection are available at the guesthouse:

• General waste
• Recyclable waste

Any paper, plastic, metal, and glass packaging waste can go into the recycling bin. Please empty containers and remove any food residue before placing them in the recycling bin.

If you are unsure which bin a piece of waste belongs in, please use the general waste bin instead. Thank you for helping protect our environment!

14. Cleaning

We hand over the guesthouse cleaned, with freshly made beds and clean towels, at the start of your stay. For stays longer than a week, we provide cleaning and a change of bedding and towels once a week, at a pre-arranged time.

Daily cleaning can also be requested on demand, for a surcharge (40.000 Ft (~€100)/day). Please let us know about such a request in advance if possible, or at the latest the day before, so we can arrange a suitable time.

15. Quiet hours

Please be considerate of the neighbours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and avoid loud music, shouting, and other noisy activities.

16. Smoking

Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside the guesthouse building. Smoking is only allowed in the designated outdoor areas. Please do not drop cigarette butts in the garden.

17. Damage

Please use the guesthouse and its equipment as intended. If damage arises from intentional or careless use of the guesthouse, its furnishings, the garden, or the outdoor equipment (in particular the pool, garden furniture, grill, or electric car charger), the cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the person responsible for the damage. Please report any malfunction or damage right away.
